obviously the highest was mid to early 2016, and as well, comes from  a group "of good reputation'

Can't classify an average sale in Killarney for the same as in renfrew area even though they are in east van LOL.....
To the moon and beyond!...at $2000 per sq ft

Just in case anybody is confused by all the misleading anecdotal information in this thread and wants to see the actual numbers the real estate board is publishing, check out this chart:

The peak price for SFH was in July last year and despite a recent slight uptick, we are still well below last years peak prices.  As accurately predicted by Tsur Somerville, condos tend to trail in a rising market but tend to outperform SFH in a falling market, and that's exactly what we are seeing now.

It will be interesting to see if the current slight uptick in SFH is a classic "bull trap" or whether the market still has one last gasp left in it before a massive correction.

Keep in mind that the numbers in the graph are the real estate industry "Frankenumbers" which tend to show a strong and exaggerated bias for price increases and which tend to lag the real market activity by several months.

Oh yeah, that site looks totally legitimate with all the sleazy advertising on the side. I think sites like that is where the butt hurt bears (like yourself) go to make them selves feel better. Geyser I would have thought enough time had passed for you to stop calling wolf for attention. According to this site you provided, Vancouver SFH is expected to drop to $500,000 by 2024, I don't even think the most die hard bear can believe that.
