Consider this scenario: In the city of Vancouver, a person sells his house to Buyer A for $2m. Not long afterwards, Buyer A assigns the contract to Buyer B for $3m. Is that $3m price recorded into a publicly accessible database somewhere (i.e. BC Assessment, Landcor, MLS, etc.)? Or would all the current systems only record the initial $2m price?
