Sorry for all the nonsense.
I want to sincerely apologize to everyone here who witnessed the derogatory and cruel mockery that many people had to endure. I thought it was funny, but I now realize how mean and cruel these comments are.
I especially want to apologize for the insane comments, pictures, etc to humiliate and ridicule specific forum members, Jim Tan, Red Lantern, Rofina, WestCoast, Robert James, Arthur Fonzarelli, VREAA (actually a very classy person), Vanpro, Jesse, off the top of my head ....I know there are many others too, Sorry,.... and I want to express my sincere regret for all these bully tactics. Regardless of our differences of opinion, the mockery and the constant bashing was uncalled for.

Good for you Whippy, you are a gentleman who just took the high ground.

Of course, it always takes two to tango so I'm sure we all look forward to a bit of humility from Jimmy. If he wasn't constantly provoking you and providing you with such tempting opportunities to embarrass him, your highly effective (and usually humerous) slap downs might never have happened.

Personally I have enjoyed much of your commentary but it was unfortunate that the two-way with Jimmy recently became relentless (from both sides) and spread to every other thread. I know how tiresome many forum members can find that, my own conflict with Taipan understandably irritated a lot of people, hence my past efforts to try and keep it to a single thread. I also realize how hard it is to resist sniping at other peoples unearned hubris, it's such an easy target.

So Jimmy, anything to add? Are you sorry too?

Sorry Taipan. Mr. Market has proven you wrong and I am sorry I was cruel to you. It was totally unnecessary, especially the pictures where I ridiculed you with your lovely wife. My sincere apologies to you and your wife.

Thank you for the advice and perspective that you gave me. Thanks also for the guts to meet in Public and back up your opinion. I am sure that Thompson and Thinktom share the same sentiment.

But when a guy is wrong, he is wrong. And he should own up to it especially when peoples feelings are at the other end of the barbs.
