•Wall Street’s biggest banks have slashed nearly 50,000 jobs and bonuses
•Include Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan and even Goldman Sachs
•Cuts, announced last week, come as profits opportunities have dried up

To be fair. That is because he is idiot just like majority of pro players whom get money too easy, too fast and too young which leads to gambling problem, support large numbers entourage, bad investment on real estate and none necessary
luxurious items.

However..

He isn't really broke because he still has about 30M in trust fund, however he can't touch it until 2030.

Dow ends down 291 on earnings misses... is this the beginning of the end?

Is the Fawk Market going bye~bye?

The Dow Jones industrial average ended down 291 points Tuesday as earnings from a batch of big-name companies pulled stocks sharply down.

Earlier, the blue-chip index had skidded as much as 390 points as big-machinery maker Caterpillar (CAT) and consumer products giant Procter & Gamble (PG) slashed their sales and profit forecasts for 2015, moves that signaled to Wall Street that the weak global economy and strong dollar could dent U.S. growth and profits this year.

interesting stuff.

i keep thinking the US has been strong for so long that it seems impossible that that would ever change.

But history shows when empires decline it's not always obvious what's going to the people at the time.

IMO, another sign of decline is the increasing polarization between left and right. the right desperately clinging onto one aspect of the past, the left another. i really don't think anyone knows what they are doing and there are major major structural problems to deal with as well.

i also think - and i know you've alluded to this in the past whip - they are being stripped of $$$ by the financial industry.

Tapioca

A lot of folks who didn't live through any of Vancover's previous home price collapses seem to think the same about today's situation.

I agree that the financial sector and the elites who direct them have hollowed out the middle class. It's called "trickle-up" economics.

Not surprise of some of "2015 Store Closings - Complete List of U.S. Retailers Closing Stores, Downsizing Chains, and Retail Company Bankruptcies" lists. Some of them such as office depot, staples and radio shack are out dated and can't compete with online retails.

However..

Isn't Target Canada bankruptcy Canada's problem?
