MLS#: V1049036

The posting is still on internet. 62yrs old on 33x121.65ft lot and 2220sqft bungalow. But the listing doesn't show interior pictures.
If the inside is original then price is fair. It is close to the transition house on Hastings and Cassier.

If there are major updating recently then price is definitely too low.
Anyone know or have been through the inside?

It's a nice neighborhood being close to d/t and nice view during the evenings. Downside is the Hwy #1 and 2nd narrows bridge traffic noise and the overhead Hydro high voltage transmission lines along Boundary.

Unless it's recently renovated, I wouldn't pay $835K. My vote is 'no', not underlisted.

Did the owner enclosed more yard than what belongs to them. I can't see a 33' wide lot have a green wire fence so far over.

The area is one of the nicer areas to raise a family. Hastings Sunrise has been in the news (ie Georgia Straight) recently as an up & coming neighbourhood. I have frequented restaurants there (Roma, Tacofino, Red Wagon). The restaurants are packed. More family moving into the neighbourhood.

I drive by Dundas a few months ago and there was a standard Vancouver Special right on Dundas that sold for about $950k! So that tells me that this house was not as overpriced as many people think.

Any homes north of Hastings around the area will be sold at a premium vs. the homes south of Hastings.

Exactly. The market has only gone straight up for the last dozen years.

So where is Vanpro, Registurd, VHB, etc???????
Are they too embarrassed to show their face around here? Or were they just Shit Shills?

Right! "The market has only gone straight up for the last dozen years." Johnny is now a historian.

Too bad that there was a minor crisis in 2008 leading to low low interest rates. Yes, Johnny knows it all....

give it a rest jimtan. Nobody is qualifying on income to buy a 1.5M detached home.
Interest rates have very little to do with what's happening with this property class

blanket assumptions like this are quite amusing... My family qualifies on income to buy a 1.5M home with 20% down. And I have a boatload of friends that are all in a similar income bracket, so I know I'm not the only one.
