Recommendation on a good mortgage broker?

I need a recommendation on a good mortgage broker, does anyone have one that they recommend?  This is for a $900,000 property that I own out right. I make a satisfactory income, but been self-employed (Ltd company), I have been using up tax losses I had in other Ltd companies (30 years old). So this...

Zoning Question Langley Township

Hello: I need some advice on Zoning in the Langley Township. I live in the Smith neighbor plan http://www.tol.ca/Services-Contact/Documents-Library?folderId=383&view=gridview&pageSize=10 , and they are in the process of re-zoning. In most case I would be satisfy with that. However as I live ...

Insurance Company called Sonnet

I just brought a property rental insurance policy from a company called Sonnet https://sonnet.ca/about-us . I read the insurance policy, and I have no concerns. Rates were excellent, and easy to do online. Does anyone have experience in dealing with this company before? You may want to look at them ...

Yes, I have been paid in full.

Even if they cut the bill in half, I would have taken court action against them. If a company or Crown Corporation is telling me falsehoods, and trying to take money out of my pocket; I have no choice but to get this money back.

Re: BC Hydro not shutting off power. Saying I own $862.93

Just an update on this. Before I do that, I want to clarify something. My tenant did tell BC Hydro to turn off the power when they moved out (March 31, 2014); this was confirmed by BC Hydro in print, when I complained to them at the Better Business Bureau, and when I took them to Small Claims Court....

Re: Is a cracked window covered by the 2-5-10 warranty?

IF its is covered it would be under your strata. As HPO states " 15 months on common property of strata building". Make your claim under the strata, and not your home insurance. But if as you say, it may have happened during the wind storm, is that a builder deficiency? I do not think so T...

Looking for a good foreign exchange company

Has anyone have any advice on a good foreign exchange company to use, for bringing money back from the USA? It is for a sale of a property there. I use to use Western Union (after they took over Custom House), but in checking their rates compared to another company, they are soaking me, so I prefer ...

Re: BC Hydro not shutting off power. Saying I own $862.93

Folks: Appreciate your views. Just to give some follow up on some views. It is a single tenant building; there is no need, to have the hydro on in the spring, summer fall. It is not going to cause mould. Nor is it a problem showing it to prospective tenants due to the longer daylight. For renovation...

BC Hydro not shutting off power. Saying I own $862.93

Need some advice here, on what actions I should take against BC Hydro. Situation is I own a rental duplex in Port Alberni, and one off my tenants decided to move out March 31, of 2014. They told BC Hydro power was no longer needed, and Hydro has confirmed they were told this. In the first week of No...

Lot Value in Langley Township

I live in a development area in Langley Township. My area (North side of 72 Avenue by 208 Street) is going to start to be zoned differently. I was at a Township hall meeting last night and some of these areas will have upgraded zoning to townhouses (is SFH now), but my specific street will stay as S...
