Yes, 1% I believe in this case. Not as strictly controlled as Woodwards. By the book is important... do you know if this is consumer-protection driven (like laws that certain states have around time shares) or REB driven, or something else?

I believe this was a provision instanciated in BC after the leaky condo crisis.
You're over-thinking it

Nothing like a 7 day window to give you comfort when you're 7 years into your purchase and it's leaking like a sieve.
