As a resident of the Marine & Cambie area and as someone who was directly involved with providing community input on development at Marine & Cambie I don't agree with all of your comments. True - there are some factors that will be unpleasant, such as the noise of traffic and the smell of the transfer station - which the community pointed out several times. But in Vancouver "rooms with a view" don't last forever - no matter what a sales agent may say. There will inevitably be some purchasers who experience buyers remorse and cancel their contracts - but to be honest I would be surprised if it is a high number of purchasers. The location is fantastic - and yes the Canada Line will be crowded - it already is - so buyer beware. And to clarify for the record - the north view for the folks on the north side of the north tower, will not be blocked as the intersection is on an angle, so Wesgroup's tower on the N. W. corner (Petrocan site) won't be directly infront of PCI's - nor will Intracorp's on the N.E. corner - and it is industrial land to the south, so the south tower view should be safe unless there is a major change in land use at the River. I think in this particular case, the large majority of contracts that are withdrawn will likely be due to the inability to get financing - those units aren't cheap!
