My wife's a mortgage rep at CIBC and she said that if your looking to buy pre-sale now for something ready in 2014 rates are pretty sure to go up so be prepared to have enough cash on hand 30-90 days before completion to afford to have enough to pay the monthly mortage rates at the higher percentage.
the cure for higher prices is moving to a destination with lower prices

Thanks for the tip fella's. I have between 800,000 and 900,000 to spend on a 2 bedroom something over 1,000 square feet but the buildings and plans I'm seeing have tiny closets and bathrooms. I'm looking for a nice Sarah Jessica Parker walk in closet for all my Gucci and Prada and a nice large spa tub to soak my tender tootsies.
All I have been noticing are tiny units with crammed bedrooms. I think there should be a developer that let's you purchase the floor or unit unfinished where we can choose to customize like they do in LA.

Maintenance Fees for Luxury Condos

Honest question, not meant to offend anyone, sorry if I do...
Does that sort of work lend enough money to afford luxury condos?
