I have never seen so many Mercedes, BMW's, Audi's, Bentleys, Range Rovers and Aston Martin cars in my life. These people definitely have money. Sales people tell me this project will sell out in a day. My friend with me speaks Mandarin. She could hear everyone in the line up talking about the year of the Dragon and this is the best time to buy in Vancouver. Definitely lots of excitement. If they run out of condos I can see a riot breaking out.
Take the Canada Line to this project and check out the buzz.
I TOLD YOU SO!!!! CHINESE NEW YEARS ENDED YESTERDAY AND TODAY THEY BUY.
Hopefully one of the news channels picks this up.
I doubt we will see Vanpro on this forum anymore.

jesse1 wrote:HUGE sales day today, 150 (yes you read that right), 1/3 in Vancouver proper. It has begun, looks like March is going to be another doozie.

My friend who is a westside realtor is buying houses to flip to the Mainland Chinese. He is putting his money where his mouth is. He deserves every penny of profit that he makes because I think he has big balls to be doing this.

What would happen to your friend if Chinese folks don't buy that house for his price (bad Feng shui, unlucky combination of numbers or something)? Can he afford to keep such expensive property when its rent doesn't cover expenses?

Rofina, yes! I am not joking.
