I think the market may leak a few more % points before leveling off - then a few up from spring to the summer. Flat thereafter. Net change in 10 months = ziltch

Depends on your definition of the "market".

Probably 5% up or down either way.  If there is a chance of 10% to 20% movement in either direction, I would say down more likely than up.  But hey, this market has surprised before so who is saying it can't surprise again.

I still think that anybody that thinks our local economy can support these prices is on glue.

What are you seeing out there harahomes?

Im seeing prices down between 5 to 15% generally. However areas/or homes that are in prime locations have generally not lost that much value.  For example, im working on a project right now where the home owner purchased that lot for just over 910k in east Burnaby in late Feb 2016.  Same sized lot and same quality of home sold in the same area for 880k a few weeks ago.
Not really that much of a change

As a whole, flat market.

High end will continue to struggle more, likely logging more losses.

Low listing, low sales. Boring, boring, boring, until the world, not just Van RE regains a sense of direction.

Fossil fuels to go down without a high demand.

Houses and Condos to increase.

The premier to be voted in as the least negative one of all the negative option

The price of things like apple and google packs will increase because of the exchange rate

To the moon!

Forever onwards and up. To infinity and beyond !

Experienced people know that metro vancouver doesn't have anywhere close to the 20 thousand housing starts per year that is required

Right. So few forecasts. So different from 2016. So many people burned. So few buyers.  :!:

So, they'll stop coming if it is too expensive. Educated people call it micro-economics. Supply and demand: mrgreen:

Canada is going to get hit by tariffs on Mexico because Canada is part of the supply chain. Canada exports parts to Mexico which assembles vehicles. Mexico exports parts to Canad which is exported to the States.

Trump is playing a zero sum game. America benefits, everyone else loses.  :!:
