That president is an idiot like you. Won't end well.

Fortunately, the scientists have the numbers...

" 2016 was the hottest year on record -- again

By Brandon Miller, CNN Meteorologist

Last year was officially the Earth's warmest since record-keeping began in the 1880s, the World Meteorological Organization announced Wednesday morning.

That means 2016 set a global heat record for the third year in a row according to NOAA and NASA, who held a joint press conference on Wednesday to discuss the record..."

Right, the opinion of a few individuals against the science and research of thousands of scientists, backed by NASA, NOSA and the Academy of Science.

You'll do well in your life.

Silly boy! you shouldn't listen to the foreign media.

Isn't the weather great? I received an email from my sister telling me to come home. She had seen photos of the snow in Calgary!!!!!

I laughed and told her that the coast was fine. Only the inland areas were being pounded. I didn't mention that Abbotsford and COQ were in exceptional circumstances.

Anyway, bound to discourage some Asian immigrants. Imagine buying your own picket fence, and having to shovel the sidewalks.  :D

Meanwhile, the good news...

Another snowfall warning is in effect for Metro Vancouver making its unusually long winter even longer.
NEWS 1130 caught up with some people in the area to gauge their reaction to more snow.
You’d normally be preparing for spring this time of year but mother nature isn’t being too kind to Vancouver.
People we spoke to near Cambie Street and Broadway say they’re done with the cold and are ready ditch their snow shovels for the sun.
“I think it’s crazy, absolutely crazy. We don’t usually get this!” said one passerby.
“It’s messed up! I mean, I’m waiting for spring and I was kind of expecting the sun would be out already,” agrees another.
Two more women told us that they’re ready for winter to move along and for Vancouver to get back to it’s normal, rainier climate.
Other people we spoke to say they were hoping to get back to outdoor activities like cycling and walking before those plans were shot down by Old Man Winter.
This winter has been one for the books with February breaking multiple records for snowfall in Vancouver, some of which were set more than 50 years ago.

Like I said, some uneducated people don't understand the difference between CLIMATE and weather. How many warm winters have we had in the last few years?

Perhaps, some people need to learn about mathematical averages?

Anyway, here's what SCIENTISTS said 20 years ago in BC...

"20 years ago, B.C. scientists warned of provincial impact of climate change

... Stewart Cohen, senior climate change researcher with Environment Canada, was one of the scientists at the conference, where researchers discussed the impact of weather pattern changes coming to the West Coast.

He calls their predictions at the time "pretty good."

... Despite those advancements, both researchers say the biggest challenge on the climate change front has been trying to change public perception.

Cohen says it's frustrating to see people who still don't believe climate change is happening, or that greenhouse gas emissions have anything to do with it..."

[size=175][font=Flama-Medium, arial, sans-serif]Sick of the snow: Spring still not in sight for Lower Mainland

[size=100]March in Metro Vancouver is typically a month for digging in gardens, not shoveling snow.
On Sunday, however, residents around the Lower Mainland woke up to anywhere from a dusting (in downtown Vancouver) to 20 centimetres (in the Fraser Valley) of the white stuff.
Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning for the region at 10:30 a.m., saying another 5 to 10 centimetres are expected as scattered snow showers continue throughout the day.

Residents around the region told CTV News they’re sick of the winter weather and ready for spring.
“We were in Hope yesterday and the snow was in the mountains, nice and high, and I thought, ‘Well good, it can stay there,’” said Jane Boyd, who was out for a walk in the snow Sunday morning.
The weather didn’t cancel False Creek Rowing Club’s first regatta of the season, but it did keep several teams from Vancouver Island and Washington State from attending, according to club president Simon Litherland.
He said the club always holds its first regatta in early March, and usually weather conditions are more favourable.
“It’s the warmest part of Canada.” Litherland said. “Usually it’s not snowing, but it’s totally not frozen, so we can get out on the water. We’ve been training all winter on the weekends and things, so it’s great to get out.”
In Delta, March is usually the start of the spring season at Delta Golf Course, but on Sunday, the parking lot was empty.
At this time last year, the parking lot would have been more than half full, said Dave Freeman, who was closing up for the day when CTV News spoke to him around 11 a.m.
“We’re very dependent on the weather,” Freeman said. “If the weather’s good, then it all works out and we have a full parking lot.”
“This winter’s been harder than most for us,” he said. “Normally, we get the winter golfers. They can get out and play.”
With more snow showers in the forecast for Monday, Freeman’s hard winter looks set to continue at least a little while longer.

Pitiful. Can't even copy and paste properly

Meanwhile, temperatures are now near record highs for the time of the year. However, other places are in bad shape. Goes to show that climate change is not just about a warming average temperature. It's about weather disruption. Keep on digging.
