It must be bad when a weak bull crack like a rotten egg. Hope he didn't buy near the high.  Meanwhile, back on topic. Thousands of units will be returned to genuine renters. "Yaletown condo strata files class-action lawsuit against Airbnb Suit alleges the site has profited from unauthor...

Re: Why use metal cladding for the building exterior?

Hello RE experts. I've just moved into my new place and have a question. Part of the building exterior has metal panels. What is the advantage of the metal panels? Cost, durability? Rain screening? Doesn't the bolts rust etc? Thanks for your thoughts. Durable and easy to replace. FYI, the exterior ...

Once again, a demonstration that yz is analytically challenged. But, he does have a certain rudeness that is impressive for a yahoo. You are both dumb and born stupid. You posted pics with no citation or source, you are definitely not educated. Again what does Vancouver west have to do with anythin...

Re: Immigration has undoubtedly escalated housing prices in Vancouver, Toronto

Immigration is not the only factor in Vancouver's fantastic real estate market. The main factor is that it is awash in illicit capital. Immigration is great for Canada and educated and rich immigrants are the best kind. Criminals looking to wash and hide money here is the real concern.

Re: 2018 -The year of housing correction arrived.

Lots of potential buyers licking their lips for a 10% reduction in Vancouver real estate. Imagine selling one of the top 3 cities in the world at a discount. You wont see a sign on my lawn Are you still in that Knight Street dump? Why not sell it for land value and get a new condo or townhouse? Or ...

Re: Is the boom over?

The day of reckoning for condos is nigh. As soon as the BC govt closes the loophole on presale assignments it will be over. I'm pretty sure developers will be required to disclose transfers, and each buyer/seller will be required to pay the applicable taxes, every time a unit changes hands. I don't...

Yep, banks are dangerous.
They are not your friend.
Presales can be dangerous.... the developer promises you a finished product....and the bank promises it will finance you.
Those are two pretty big promises.

Banks Not Worried With CMHC Covering Their Loans
